Privacy Policy

What we collect

The photo you upload, the first name and email you enter, your choices (cuts, cover, color part, language) and the Hairbook we make from them, including the AI's reading of your face shape and hair.

Payments are handled by Paddle.com, so we never see your card details.

How we use it

Only to make your Hairbook, deliver it to you, and help you when you contact us. We read your photo as soon as you upload it, to find your face shape and pick your cuts.

We don't use your photo to identify you, we don't sell your data, and we don't use it to train AI models. We never show your Hairbook as an example: the example people on our site are AI-generated.

Who processes it

Providers that work on our behalf: Convex (database and file storage); OpenRouter, which passes your photo to the AI models that make your images and text (from Google and Black Forest Labs); Resend (email); and Paddle.com (payments). They may process data outside your country, including in the United States.

Your private link

Your Hairbook lives at a link only you receive. We don't list or publish it, but anyone you share it with can open it.

How long we keep it

We keep your photo and Hairbook so your link and PDF keep working. If you upload a photo but don't buy, it stays with your unfinished Hairbook so you can come back to it.

Email help@hairbook.ai at any time and we'll delete your photo, your Hairbook and your details within 30 days. Order records the law requires stay with Paddle.com.

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing help@hairbook.ai. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.

Cookies and storage

One cookie remembers your language. Your browser also keeps the id of your unfinished Hairbook so a refresh doesn't lose it. Our team uses sign-in cookies for admin pages. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Children

Hairbook is not for anyone under 16.

Changes
